Random Comic Pick - Episode 22

My random comic pick on The Comic Conspiracy: Episode 22 is the Dark Horse series Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic written mainly by John Jackson Miller and drawn by various artists. I started reading this series because is was one of the Star Wars books that was going to cross over with Star Wars: Legacy in the Vector story arc. The series didn't really impress me too much in the beginning.
Commencement the first story arc introduces Zayne Carrick an unlucky Jedi Padawan who gets framed for the deaths of his peers and he must use all of his bad luck to save himself and the galaxy. The idea of an unlucky Jedi was tough to take in and when the book tried to be funny it failed. But, I kept reading because I really enjoyed the secondary characters: Jarael, Rohlan Dyre, Slyssk, and Gorman Vandrayk. Overall, Knights of the Old Republic isn't the best series out there, but I found it entertaining enough to keep reading and I'm currently on the eighth volume (Destroyer) and looking forward to the end. I'm recommending this book mainly because it has grown on me and I think it will grow on you too.

Knights of the Old Republic ran for 50 issues and is collected in nine graphic novels.
