If you have noticed a lack of a weekly blurb on my pull list it is due to a few things. The first thing, is I am currently going through my pull list, and will be making some changes to the titles that I will actually be picking up on a regular basis. Also, I have been busy getting things in order around my house since I am to be a father to a girl in May. This one item in particular is why I haven't had the time to do a blurb on my weekly pull list. I am also thinking about changing up how I present my opinion on the books I buy and read every week. Stay tuned for changes that will be coming.

Well I have some reading to get to, and you have some books to get from your local comic book store or online at our digital store. Thank you for stopping by.

Remember you can now find these titles and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront or you can still order comics from us directly by visiting the shop, giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

As usual I'll be talking comics on The Comic Conspiracy, and on the Geekbox Forums. Now get out there and enjoy some good old fashioned comic book reading.

You do these pull lists for over a year, and you find that it gets harder and harder to do an original intro the books you are looking forward to this week. It is a tough thing to do, but I'm going to prevail. The bottom of my stack this week consists of Detective Comics, Earth 2, Animal Man and Swamp Thing.
Detective Comics has come back from being just another Batman title. John Layman is doing a great job establishing the new status quo for Batman, his gallery of rogues, and everything that makes Gotham City a great city (To read about. Live there...you'd have to be crazy.). This title was actually heading towards the reading list at one point, but I'm glad that the new creative team has pulled it up from those low moments to make it a book I look forward to every month.
Earth 2 has inched its way to being in my top books of the week and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that James Robinson is establishing this second Earth as a solid alternative universe to the New 52 Earth. I enjoy reading about a world where the Trinity fell and other heroes have to take their place. Great title overall. You should read it.
"Rotworld" is heading into the finale with Animal Man and Swamp Thing this week. I'm excited to see how this event unfolds, but in the back of my mind I'm sad because I know that this is the last stretch for these books before we see a creative team change. Hoping this time next year these two titles are still at the bottom of my weekly stack of books.
Well now that those are out of the way let's get on with the other titles I decided to take home this week.
Great Pacific started out as an interesting read, but as the series has gone on I'm not finding it to be that interesting. This title is teetering on being dropped to the reading list or dropped completely.
Super Dinosaur is back. I think I'm reading this book because I just like how fun and simple it is at its core. This is a book that really appeals to a lot of readers of any age.
Batwing. Batwing, I'm still reading Batwing? Yes, because it is a good book, and it may be a part of the Batman family of books, but it stands on its own. For me I think that it is just one of those books you are either going to take it or leave it, and for me I'm still picking it up. Phantom Stranger started strong, wavered a little and I hope it gets back on its feet. Dan Didio isn't known for being able to keep a story going lately so I'm not sure if this title will stay on my pull list.
Smallville: Season 11 has been a fun read, and I enjoy being able to come back and enjoy this version of Superman.
Worlds' Finest had a hiccup a few months ago with the Damian Wayne team-up with Huntress, but it has come back from that as the connection between New 52 Earth and the New Earth 2, and it is a good read.
If you have been giving those four issue minis from DC a shot then you are currently reading an interesting book that seems to be leading these characters towards being a team. Could this be the new Checkmate? I would be down with that.
Fairest has been a great spin off from Fables, and I am looking forward to seeing what happens in this issue to Rapunzel.
Harbinger the zero issue hits the shelves today and I'm curious to see if Valiant can do a zero issue right.
Out of all the comics I pick up the Valiant books tend to make their way down towards the bottom of the stack. Shadowman is no exception. This book has had it all: magic, action, story, great characters and a wonderful artist. How can you not enjoy a book like this?

Well that does it for my pull list so, let's see what is going on with my reading list.
Legends of the Dark Knight is a collection of short Batman stories. Some are good, some suck, but overall it is nice to have some more Batman to read every month.
Snapshot is the new mini series from Andy Diggle, and I am actually curious to see what it is all about.
All New X-Men number seven is already out and I find myself wondering why I'm still reading this train wreck of a book. Maybe this issue will help me severe ties completely.
New Avengers is suppose to be the biggest book this week and I don't care. The Illuminati are coming back apparently, but I don't think that is such a good idea with the Avengers teams re-forming and the Marvel NOW! universe is still trying to get its bearings. Might be done with this book after this issue.
Thunderbolts has one more chance to grab me
Green Arrow has a new creative team and the book looks like it is going to be a bigger hit than that Hawkeye book. Young Romance is just another Holiday Special, but sometimes you get some really good reads from those specials so I'm going to check this one out.

I best be getting to reading through some books. If you like my weekly blurb you can "Follow Me" on Twitter to see what I really think of what I've read week to week.
Now, scoot you booty down to your local shop or over to the Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront to get your books.
