Neil Gaiman Returns to Marvel...Is this Marvel's WTF Moment?

I am completely in shock about the announcement from Marvel that Neil Gaiman will be writing working on the last issue of Age of Ultron (CBR Article / Bleeding Cool Article), and that the guest that was going to be brought in with that issue is Gaiman's creation Angela from Spawn. This is definitely out of left field, and I'm not sure how things will play out. We will just have to wait and see with the last issue of Age of Ultron how much of an influence Angela will have in the Marvel Universe. If that wasn't enough from left field it seems to be that Gaiman will also help co-write issue five of Guardians of the Galaxy. If this is permanent then I might be buying a Marvel book after almost a year of being Marvel free on my pull list. If Gaiman continues to write Guardians of the Galaxy (which would be amazing) I would be sold on the book completely. Just like the appearance of Angela in Age of Ultron, we will just have to wait and see where things go with Gaiman's involvement with Marvel, and if a Marvel book will become a staple on my pull list again. CBR has a poll up "What's Your Reaction to Neil Gaiman Returning to the Marvel U?", cats your vote here.

I am starting to go through what I buy week to week, and really trim off some of the fat. There are a lot of titles on my pull list that I really don't need to get month to month; not to mention that I've found it harder to pick up the hard covers and trades I want for my library, because my pull list has been filled with tiles I really should just be reading. Hopefully this slimming down will help me stay focused on the stuff I truly want, and allow me to get rid of the stuff that I like, but don't really need in single issue format.
I'm actually a little behind in my reading so I best be getting through some books.
Now, scoot your booty down to your local shop or over to the Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront to get your books.

Remember you can now find these titles and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront.
You can still order comics from us directly by visiting the shop or giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.
