Week two of this "New Rejiggered 52" and again I seem to be picking up 9 out of the 13 books DC is releasing today. The only title I'm giving a chance this week is Deathstroke, because despite the fact that I have never been a fan of the Teen Titans or the Titans; I have liked the character Deathstroke. So we will see. Marvel got a few titles on the list this week which is a nice change of pace. Like Ryan and I both say about Marvel, "I want to like it. I really do, but Marvel keeps letting me down."
I am super stoked for Severed #2, but I have to wait because we were shorted our copies this week and they won't get to the the shop until Friday. Damn you Diamond!

just got done with suicide Squad never read it before NEw 52 is me really trying at DC. I like the concept Mission Impossible but with villians.

ReplyDeleteSuicide Squad is a great concept, and I recommend reading the earlier stuff with Suicide Squad (Vol. 1): Trial By Fire trade paperback.

I like the concept of the Frankenstein book, but the Flashpoint mini left a bad taste in my mouth when it came to a new ongoing. Which is sad because I have like the Creature Commandos stuff that has come out in the past few years.
Just read Suicide Squad #1 as well. It was really good. Way better than Batwing
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Suicide Squad a lot and yes it was a better read than Batwing, but I still enjoyed Batwing more so than Hawk & Dove.
