Week two of the fifth month in the "New Rejiggered 52" and it has come to my attention that the second week is my largest pull week every month now; with almost 20 titles and a trade or two. Although for me there are some great books out this week that I look forward to reading: Resurrection Man, Green Lantern, Suicide Squad, Batgirl and Severed to name a few. I'm also looking forward to reading Star Wars: Agent of the Empire and Amazing Spider-Man. Star Wars has been an interesting story and it is nice to have a non-DC / non-Marvel title on my pull list. As for Amazing Spider-Man this issue starts the two part crossover with Daredevil and Black Cat. I'm actually really interested in reading this to get a feel for Mark Waid's current Daredevil; which I have heard many say is Marvel's top book right now. Now I can give it a try with this little crossover. Overall, I am in for a lot of reading this week. Can't wait.

Remember you can now find these titles and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront or you can still order comics from us directly by visiting the shop, giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

As usual I'll be talking comics on The Comic Conspiracy, and on the Geekbox Forums. Now get out there and enjoy some good old fashioned comic book reading.

  1. I hope you appreciated ASM for giving you a good taste of what you've been missing in Daredevil.

    1. I haven't read it yet, but I am hoping it is a redeeming issue for ASM. I'm just bummed that paperback Daredevil Vol. 1 won't be out until much later this year so, I will have to wait to check out the Waid Daredevil stuff.

    2. Read ASM #677 and I enjoyed it. The art was okay and the story was interesting. This issue keeps ASM on my pull list and does give me a little preview of what to expect from Daredevil, but alas I must wait.

    3. You aren't even going to pick up the crossover from DD next week?

  2. How's Deathstroke #5? I've heard some really good things about this issue. Also, man Suicide Squad was definitely awesome this week.

    1. I haven't gotten a chance to read Deathstroke #5 yet. Long week of stuff to do and not enough time to do it. I am looking forward to Suicide Squad this week. I'll let you know.

    2. I wasn't completely impressed with Deathstroke #5, but it was cool at the end when Legacy throws that submarine at Deathstroke. I was hopeful for this series, but now that Rob Liefeld is going to be drawing and writing I am afraid Deathstroke will fall off my pull list.
As for this week's Suicide Squad...Fucking Awesome!
