My random comic pick on The Comic Conspiracy: Episode 49 is the new Image title by Brian K. Vaughan with art from Fiona Staples, Saga #1.
If you didn't snag a copy from you local comic book shop I'll let you know right now it is sold out. Saga is the book we have all been waiting for from the creator of Y: The Last Man, and it delivers a wondrously drawn world (even though it isn't my cup of tea art wise, but it is growing on me) where two fictional beings are trying to raise a child in the midst of an epic war between what seems to be the realms of science fiction and fantasy. I really enjoyed this over-sized first issue, and so much can be done in this world that I can't wait to see what happens next.
There will be a second print coming out soon and I suggest you get a copy, or you can get it right now by downloading it from Comics Conspiracy's digital storefront here.
Brian K. Vaughan has a nice letter to the readers in the back of Saga asking you to send him mail because he likes letters and pictures and hearing from the fans. So, I am going to stop writing this, and get to writing an actual letter. Maybe I'll include a picture too.
Remember you can now find this title and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront or you can order comics from us directly by visiting the shop, giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

I was fortunate enough to have grabbed the store's last copy on Friday. It was a good read and a great value for the price.
