Hooded Girl from the New 52 (week 3)

The Hooded Girl (or The Strange Woman) from the splash page in Flashpoint #5 is appearing in every issue of the New Rejiggered 52. I snapped her appearances in the 8 titles I picked up this week and also dug around (www.bleedingcool.com) to find the rest of the appearances. So far she has shown up 41 times (my extra Suicide Squad #1 appearance included). Check out week three's appearances below and her appearance last week and the week before.

The Hooded Girl makes a very poignant appearance in Batman #1. She appears at the beginning of the book standing in front of the closed down Majestic Theater.

In Captain Atom #1 I was afraid I was going to miss seeing her, but she was really easy to find.

In the very, very sexually charged issue of Catwoman #1 the Hooded Girl is in the background in the Russian club.

In DC Universe Presents: Deadman #1 the Hooded Girl pops up early on in the book, but she is actually in the past watching Boston Brande before he became Deadman. Creepy.

While John Stewart gives a "construct" presentation to some business execs the Hooded Girl watches intently in Green Lantern Corps #1.

The Hooded Girl appears in the 31st century in Legion of Super-Heroes #1 about halfway through the book.

I am going to pick up Red Hood and the Outlaws #1, but we were shorted this title at the shop. Again...DAMN YOU DIAMOND!

In Wonder Woman #1 the Hooded Girl was hard to spot for me, but I found her near the end watching two centaurs bear down on Zeus's pregnant little sexual plaything. Did I spoil something there?

Here are the Hooded Girl's appearances in the titles I didn't pick up this week:

Birds of Prey #1 appearance

Blue Beetle #1 appearance

Nightwing #1 appearance

Who is she, and why is she appearing everywhere and anytime? We will just have to wait to find out.

Hooded Girl from the New 52 (week 2)

The Hooded Girl (or The Strange Woman) from the splash page in Flashpoint #5 is appearing in every issue of the New Rejiggered 52. I snapped her appearances in the 9 titles I picked up this week and also dug around (www.bleedingcool.com) and found the rest of the appearances. So far she has shown up 28 times (maybe 29). Check out week two's appearances below and last week's appearances here.

The Hooded Girl appears poolside near the end of Batman and Robin #1.

Halfway through Batwoman #1 the Hooded Girl shows up in the background at a crime scene.

In Deathstroke #1 the Hooded Girl appears on the first page in the far left and she looks like she's put on some weight. (Oh and all those guys with guns...they die on the next page.)

While Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris are talking on the street (after she bails him out from jail) is where the Hooded Girl makes her appearance.

The Hooded Girl watches over Grifter after he escapes from being held captive halfway through Grifter #1.

In Legion Lost #1 the Legion may be lost, but the Hooded Girl knows where to find them. She appears here watching the destruction of a small town.

In Red Lanterns #1, as we see the RAGE build up in a man over the death of his grand father we see the Hooded Girl watch from an alley way.

Towards the end of Resurrection Man #1 the Hooded Girl watches Resurrection Man run from the plane crash wreakage. And if I'm not mistaken she seems to have long fingers now.

The Hooded Girl looks on as Deadshot is tortured in the beginning of Suicide Squad #1, but is this her only appearance in Suicide Squad?

It appears that the Hooded Girl also appears in the bottom of the above panel in Deadshot's flashback.

This morning I submitted a tip to Bleeding Cool.com about this extra appearance of the Hooded Girl in Suicide Squad #1, and they used my image above in their 13 More Appearances of the Strange Woman article. Check it out!

Here are the Hooded Girl's appearances in the titles I didn't pick up this week:

Demon Knights #1 appearance

Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #1 appearance

Mister Terrific #1 appearance

Hooded Girl from the New 52 (week 1)

So the Hooded Girl (or The Strange Woman) from the splash page in Flashpoint #5 is appearing in every issue of the New Rejiggered 52. I snapped her appearances in the 9 titles I picked up this week and also dug around (www.bleedingcool.com) and found the rest of the appearances. So far she has shown up 15 times. Check them out.

Above is the mysterious first appearance of the Hooded Girl from Flashpoint #5 who is talking about the merging of three worlds; which I believe are meant to be DC, Vertigo, and Wildstorm.

Her first appearance in the "New Rejiggered 52" is in the stands of the football game. This book is set in the past which not only makes the Hooded Girl's appearances span great distances, but also time.

This one was from Action Comics #1 which is based before Justice League. So, this title is maybe ten years in the past and the Hooded Girl is in crowd on the train that is being derailed toward the end of the book.

Here she is in the crowd at the hospital in Animal Man #1 after we see Animal Man's eyes bleeding.

This one was tricky to find in Batgirl #1. It is at the end as the villain shoves the guy out of the hospital window.

She appears standing in a crowd of onlookers half way through Detective Comics #1

In Green Arrow #1 the Hooded Girl seems to be playing peek-a-boo with the readers instead of being in the background just watching.

The Hooded Girl pops up at the end of Hawk & Dove #1 to watch a group of guys get attack by a zombie thing.

Peek-a-boo again in Justice League International #1 about half way through the book.

Stormwatch #1 has the Hooded Girl watching Apollo escape.

In Swamp Thing #1 she pops in to watch Alec Holland talk with his buddy at a construction site early on in the title.

Here are the Hooded Girl's appearances in the titles I didn't pick up this week:

Batwing #1 appearance

Men of War # 1 appearance

O.M.A.C. #1 appearance
