Conspirator Brock's Pull List for 3/28/12

For all of the curious people out there wondering what I like to read week to week here is a list of the titles I am going to be picking up for the week of 3/28/12:

(Note: I have included deep links for some titles if you wish to support Comics Conspiracy when you buy digital comics. I have not included links to Marvel or Dark Horse books because you cannot support us currently by buying them through our site.)

01. All Star Western #7 DC
02. American Vampire #25 Vertigo*
03. Aquaman #7 DC
04. Batman: The Dark Knight #7 DC
05. Flash #7 DC
06. Green Lantern: New Guardians #7 DC
07. Justice League Dark #7 DC
08. Superman #7 DC
09. Unwritten #35.5 Vertigo*
10. Voodoo #7 DC

* The shop was shorted this title, but you can still get yours digitally for our storefront.

It's the end of the month and it seems that this is going to be my light week from now on; unless some of the second wave of "New 52" titles get released in the fourth week, but we will see. I'm looking forward to reading Aquaman, All Star Western and Justice League Dark this week, because I'm curious as to where these engaging stories are going to go. Good stuff.
From the new Vertigo releases I have enjoyed Saucer Country and Fairest. I didn't care for Dominique Laveau: Voodoo Child last week, and so I'm going to read The New Deadwardians #1 to see if it is something I want to actually pick up.

If you haven't heard I have decided to no longer purchase Marvel single issues, because of all of the gimmicks, double shipping, the simple fact that our consumers can't support us by buying Marvel digital comics from our Comixology storefront, and their overall gouging of customers wallets, but I have a responsibility to stay current, and have an informed opinion on some books. So, here is my list of Marvel reading for the week:

Avengers Vs X-Men #0
Captain America & Bucky #628
Daredevil #10

I can tell you now though that this will be the last issue of the Captain and Someone book I pick up.

I also wanted to mention this art book that came out from Guillem March called Cover Girls. It looks amazing. I might have to snag a copy for myself at some point...and yes one for my girlfriend too.

Remember you can now find these titles and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront or you can still order comics from us directly by visiting the shop, giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

As usual I'll be talking comics on The Comic Conspiracy, and on the Geekbox Forums. Now get out there and enjoy some good old fashioned comic book reading.

Random Comic Pick - Episode 50

We didn't have time for an official random comic pick on The Comic Conspiracy: Episode 50, but we were asked by one of our listeners Trip Bakun this question,

"@RyanHigginsRyan @BrockSager @TobyXi @InsanityinChaos @comicsanddakine What is your favorite non-Marvel/DC book and why?"

I was actually torn when it came to answering this because there are some good independent reads out there, but decided to go with the Oni Press title The Sixth Gun. (Click the link to read the first issue for free through our Comixology storefront.)

The Sixth Gun was actually my random comic pick back on Episode 5. (The Superboy Prime Episode) If you are into any of theses things: the paranormal, Civil War Era, westerns, guns, or just a good read then you should be checking out this title by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Brian Hurtt.

Remember you can now find this title and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront or you can order comics from us directly by visiting the shop, giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

Conspirator Brock's Pull List for 3/21/12

For all of the curious people out there wondering what I like to read week to week here is a list of the titles I am going to be picking up for the week of 3/21/12:

(Note: I have included deep links for some titles if you wish to support Comics Conspiracy when you buy digital comics. I have not included links to Marvel or Dark Horse books because you cannot support us currently by buying them through our digital Comixology site.)

01. Batman #7 DC
02. Captain Atom #7 DC
03. Catwoman #7 DC
04. DC Universe Online: Legends #26 DC
05. Dominique Laveau: Voodoo Child #1 Vertigo
06. Fables #115 Vertigo
07. Green Lantern Corps #7 DC
08. Justice League #7 DC
09. Legion of Super-Heroes #7 DC
10. Red Hood and the Outlaws #7 DC
11. Star Trek / Legion of Super-Heroes #6 IDW
12. Star Wars - Dawn of the Jedi: Force Storm #2 Dark Horse
13. Super Dinosaur #9 Image
14. T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #5 of 6 DC

I can't wait to dive into Batman, Justice League, Catwoman, and Star Wars - Dawn of the Jedi: Force Storm. Scott Snyder, Geoff Johns, Judd Winick and John Ostrander have been maintaining a level of amazing story telling on the books they work on that makes me put them at the bottom of my read pile to save the best for last.
The Star Trek / Legion of Super-Heroes cross over ends this week, and I have enjoyed this mini series, but there hasn't been to much in the way of action despite things happening. So, I am curious to see how they wrap it all up in this last issue.
The new Vertigo title Dominique Laveau: Voodoo Child comes out today and I'm going to give it a read. We'll see if it becomes a new title I pick up in the future.
This week is the first week that I will not be picking up any Marvel titles and I'm not bothered by this fact.
I think it is time for you to get to reading your pile of books. Enjoy!

Remember you can now find these titles and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront or you can still order comics from us directly by visiting the shop, giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

Random Comic Pick - Episode 49

My random comic pick on The Comic Conspiracy: Episode 49 is the new Image title by Brian K. Vaughan with art from Fiona Staples, Saga #1.
If you didn't snag a copy from you local comic book shop I'll let you know right now it is sold out. Saga is the book we have all been waiting for from the creator of Y: The Last Man, and it delivers a wondrously drawn world (even though it isn't my cup of tea art wise, but it is growing on me) where two fictional beings are trying to raise a child in the midst of an epic war between what seems to be the realms of science fiction and fantasy. I really enjoyed this over-sized first issue, and so much can be done in this world that I can't wait to see what happens next.
There will be a second print coming out soon and I suggest you get a copy, or you can get it right now by downloading it from Comics Conspiracy's digital storefront here.
Brian K. Vaughan has a nice letter to the readers in the back of Saga asking you to send him mail because he likes letters and pictures and hearing from the fans. So, I am going to stop writing this, and get to writing an actual letter. Maybe I'll include a picture too.

Remember you can now find this title and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront or you can order comics from us directly by visiting the shop, giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

Surge In Page Hits

Apparently something happened on The Walking Dead last night that had people rushing to Google or their preferred search engine, because ConspiratorBrock.com experienced a surge in page hits from 6 to 10 last night. A little over 900 people found my site because they typed in some combination of hooded girl, walking dead and "who is."
I haven't watched this season of The Walking Dead yet, but from Twitter, Facebook, and the internet in general I know that Michonne was introduced during the season finale last night. Apparently she had people hungry for information on her character. Thank you AMC and The Walking Dead for sending people to my corner of the internet.

If there are a few stragglers from this information frenzy then you may want to search "The Walking Dead Michonne" or just click here for Google search results.

My Comic Book Binding - R.E.B.E.L.S.

I just finished packing up my next adventure in comic book binding, and I am really excited to see how this turns out. I'm having the latest installment of the R.E.B.E.L.S. (2009 - 2011) series bound.
The main reason why I'm doing such a new title is because the DC trade department decided to cancel the fifth volume, Starstruck, which collects the last eight issues (#21 - 28) of the series, and I was only reading R.E.B.E.L.S. in trade. You can imagine my irritation at hearing the last trade was to never going to hit the shelves.
Thanks to some shops in San Antonio, Texas, Omar, Ryan and a Comics Conspiracy customer I was able to put together the whole run (28 issues and one Annual) to send off to Herring & Robinson. Herring & Robinson is the binding company I used for my Booster Gold Vol. 1, which turned out really nice. Check it out here.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this binding turns out, because it is a newer series. We'll just have to wait and see.

Update 1: My order was received by Herring & Robinson on 3/20/12.

Update 2: My order was completed by Herring & Robinson on 4/19/12 and should be mailed out tomorrow. Can't wait to get my R.E.B.E.L.S. trade!

Update 2: My order was shipped and I got it on 4/21/12. I will have pictures up soon.

What Is Up With DC's Trade Department?

DC has come under fire lately for numerous problems that have come out of their trade paperback department. Here are just some of the issues that have come up:

1) This week alone there was a problem with Batman: Year One Deluxe Edition was released with a shitty coloring job and a few other issues. Creator David Mazzuchelli wouldn't even buy it. Check out his reasoning at Comicvine.com.
Even worse is DC is trying to give this mediocre edition away tweeting, "Good Reads is giving away Batman: Year One. Find out how to win a copy for yourself here."

2) And the other problem trade this week was, The DC Universe by Alan Moore, a nice collection of Alan Moore stories in the DC and Wildstorm universes, came out this week and it doesn't even include The Killing Joke, which it was solicited to have. Even DC's new website states that it is suppose to be included. DC has told retailers that it will be returnable at a later date.

3) Absolute Kingdom Come was released with a page (#104) that was missing words. DC has said that they will replace damaged copies, but you need to get on this because requests to replace these damaged copies must be received by April 3rd. (BleedingCool.com article)

4) At the end of February DC released DC Universe: Secret Origins, and it was missing pages.

5) I personally found two issues with the Resurrection Man Vol. 1 trade. First a low resolution page, and second a splash page on back to back pages.

6) Last year Showcase Presents: Ghosts was printed missing a whole page. BleedingCool.com

7) Marvel Vs. DC - Omnibus Edition. A lot of people have complained about the quality of DC's omnibuses versus Marvel omnibuses. Numerous comparison videos have popped up online. When you charge a lot for an omnibus you expect to get a certain type of quality for your money, but this has not been the case for DC's omnibuses.
Dan Didio has said that this issue needs to get fixed. (BleedingCool.com article)

8) There isn't just a problem with what DC is releasing, but with what they aren't releasing. Like where are those Justice League of America soft cover trades from the 1997 run? Why didn't you finish the R.E.B.E.L.S. trades? Suicide Squad trades; what happened to those? No, soft covers for Justice League: Generation Lost?

DC needs to rejigger their trade department ASAP, because retailers and customers won't stand for this lack of quality control; especially with the "New 52" trades coming out soon.

20,000 Page Hits and Counting!

There have been, as of this post, over 20,000 page hits on Conspirator Brock.com. Fun that averages out to about 57 hits a day. Thank you all for checking out my little blog corner of the internet, leaving comments and liking the blog on your social network of choice. Remember to keep listening to The Comic Conspiracy, and don't forget to tell your friends about us we want them hooked too.

Conspirator Brock's Pull List for 3/14/12

For all of the curious people out there wondering what I like to read week to week here is a list of the titles I am going to be picking up for the week of 3/14/12:

(Note: I have included deep links for some titles if you wish to support Comics Conspiracy when you buy digital comics. I have not included links to Marvel or Dark Horse books because you cannot support us currently by buying them through our site.)

01. Batgirl #7 DC
02. Batman and Robin #7 DC
03. Batwoman #7 DC
05. Deathstroke #7 DC
06. Demon Knights #7 DC
07. Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E #7 DC
08. Green Lantern #7 DC
09. Grifter #7 DC
10. Legion Lost #7 DC
11. Peter Panzerfaust #2 Image
12. Resurrection Man #7 DC
13. Saga #1 Image
14. Saucer Country #1 Vertigo
15. The Shade #6 of 12 DC
16. Star Wars: Agent of the Empire #4 of 5 Dark Horse
17. Suicide Squad #7 DC
18. Thief of Thieves #2 Image
19. The Unwritten #35 Vertigo

Week two has got to be my biggest week for picking up comics. I'm okay with it though because there are numerous titles that I am looking forward to: Green Lantern, Batgirl, Resurrection Man, Suicide Squad, Batwoman, Batman and Robin, Thief of Thieves, and Peter Panzerfaust to name almost half of my pull list.
I am going to give Brian K. Vaughan's new Image book Saga a try because, it is new Brian K. Vaughan, and it looks great with art from Fiona Staples (plus the fact that it is only $2.99). Image is getting a lot of attention lately for some of the books they are putting out and they should, because they are some good books.
And if you hadn't already noticed...NO MARVEL TITLES! From here on out I am going to read Marvel in trade until they can get their collective head out of their ass when it comes to single issues. Marvel please focus on making quality books for a fair price, and stop trying to get the next gimmick to stick or a justification for a price point.
Marvel you have also said that you want to support the brick and mortar stores; then do what DC and other companies have done with Comixology. Give a percentage of the digital comic purchase, if the customer buys through a digital storefront (this goes for you too Dark Horse) to the store of the customers choice. Stop with the coupons!
Well I need to get to reading because I have a lot to get through this week and I don't want to get behind.

John Carter of Mars (Should Have Been the Title)

At the end of The Comic Conspiracy: Episode 48 we discussed the new film John Carter, which was based on a couple of Edgar Rice Burroughs novels (one being A Princess of Mars). I didn't love it and I didn't hate it, but I did have a few things that did bother me about the film and a few things I liked.

The first thing that bothered me was the casting of Ciarán Hinds as Tardos Mors, the father of Dejah Thoris (in the film version) and Jeddak of Helium, and James Purefoy as Kantos Kan a padwar or lieutenant in Helium's navy, which in the movie comes across only as Tardos Mors number two. I found this casting jarring because both of these amazing actors played similar roles on HBO series Rome; Hinds as Gaius Julius Caesar and Purefoy as Mark Antony. On Rome, these two actors played in depth and powerful characters who's performances where totally amazing. But, in John Carter I didn't feel that same depth or power from their performances; it seemed more campy or light hearted and that didn't work at all for me.

The next thing I had difficulty with was the lack of character development for the villains: Sab Than and the therns. Sab Than is only bad because he is the Jeddak of Zodanga and the tool that the threns are going to use to control Mars. And as for the therns they come across as just a bunch of children playing god because, they are bored and can do whatever they want. Much like those old Wendy's commercials that screamed, "Where's the beef?" I scream, "Where is the three dimensional villain?" (Not actually 3D). There isn't any real depth to these villains and I think that that takes away from the impact they have to the story over all.

I think that what bothered me the most about John Carter was that I didn't really feel the "dark night of the soul" moment in this film, which is a key turning point where the hero will either go against the evil or turn and face the darkness even it means his or her life. That moment was not in this film and I big part of this is failure is weak characters and mediocre villains. I wanted more and I got nothing.

I did like that we finally got to see this world that Edgar Rice Burroughs imagined so long ago. An interesting world of aliens and men who are flying around on light. John Carter is the type of movie made from a story that my great grandfather and grand father would have loved to see on the big screen. I am on the fence when it comes to this film, but please go and see it for yourself. Make your own decision about this film, because if anything it is funny at times and candy for your eyes. It is also plain to see that you cannot compare it to other films because this is what influenced those films.

(I have to give props to Michael Chabon for working on this script. If you don't know who Michael Chabon is then I suggest you pick up or download The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay , because it is an amazing book.)

Random Comic Pick - Episode 48

There was no individual pick for The Comic Conspiracy: Episode 48 this week because we reviewed DC's "New 52". Here are some of my top books from the "New 52", in no particular order:

Batman
All Star Western
Suicide Squad
Resurrection Man
Aquaman
Swamp Thing
Animal Man
Justice League
Catwoman

There are my some of my top reads from the "New 52". Maybe another title or two will sneak in there or leave when we hit the year mark; we'll just have to wait and see.

Remember you can now find these titles and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront.
You can still order comics from us directly by visiting the shop or giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

Marvel Announcements That Made Me Laugh and I Draw My Own Line...

"Marvel is proud to announce that, beginning June 2012, all Marvel super hero comics priced at $3.99 will include codes for free digital copies of those same issues on the Marvel Comics app for iOS and Android devices at no extra cost!"
--ComicBookResources.com

-Because we are desperately trying to justify charging you $3.99 for 20 pages of story.

We’re committed to bringing fans the best value in comics. By including codes for free digital copies in all our $3.99 super hero comics, we’re doing just that” said David Gabriel, SVP of Sales, Marvel Entertainment. “We’ve seen a tremendous response to the digital codes in Avenging Spider-Man, our Season One graphic novels and the Ultimate Comics line. The positive reactions from both retailers and fans make it clear that including these codes with our books drives customers into comic stores on a repeated basis.
--ComicBookResources.com

-But if I only want to read the comic digitally why would I go into a comic book store to buy a book with a digital code?
-If you really wanted to give fans the best value you would stop trying to make gimmicks work?
-How did that $5 coupon work out for the retailers?
-I wonder if the people who buy the comic with the digital code are just giving the code away to friends or maybe they are selling it for a dollar or two to get back some money for that 20 page comic book.

""Self cover” prints cover and insides on the same stock, and the cover is printed as part of the internal pages. Which also means the page count drops slightly – instead of 24 or 32 pages, with four pages of cover, now those four pages will be printed as part of the multiple-of-eight page count."
--BleedingCool.com

-So, not only is the cover now cheaper material that can easily be damaged (i.e. ripped, sweat rings from clammy fingers, or even folded wrong) you are also going to lose pages on the $2.99 titles. I thought cheaper material meant you could keep cost down.

Febuary Sales Chart Numbers were released and Marvel did well while DC fell off a little. Of course there was no mention of this:

"Cut out the double-shipping books and the $3.99 price point, and these charts look a lot different for @Marvel..."
--@RyanHigginsRyan

-Or the fact that there were some increases in sales from other publishers who had titles sell out left and right.

After I laughed at all this Marvel garbage (especially since Aquaman beat every Marvel book for the second month in a row)I was sad, because with these changes I will most likely stop getting Marvel titles in single issue format all together. Marvel keeps trying to draw their own line, and I'm not impressed with what that represents; gimmicks which try to justify lower production quality, a hard push to physical readers to go digital which isn't necessary, and the fact that Marvel seems to have no real grasp of their readership or just don't care.

So, I'm drawing my own line...

What is Strangers in Paradise?

"Brock,

On the Comic Conspiracy podcast (episode 5), you referred to Strangers in Paradise as being a, "girly comic". I figure the best way to dispel this pre-conceived notion is to lend you my copy. Let me know what you think of it.

Trevor
(Fade-2-Black)
"

Dear Trevor,

Thank you for lending me a copy of Strangers in Paradise and I must say that I was very judgmental going in, but the book was an amazing and fun read; still a bit girly though. I can see now why this book won so many awards and is a popular title among non-super hero comic book readers. I will most likely continue reading this series and maybe check out Echo or Rachel Rising. Thank you again for exposing me to this title and I look forward to reading more.

Sincerely,

Conspirator Brock

Joe Quesada - Another Foot In Mouth Moment...

"Yeah, of course — that’s what people want to think. But let’s be clear: The DC relaunch is a response to everything Marvel’s been doing, and not the other way around. You don’t set fire to your entire house for no good reason. And by the way, I tip my hat to them. They did something daring and it worked for them. They boosted sales of some of their books. But Avengers vs. X-Men is something that’s been on our docket for publishing for several years now."

– Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, reacting to suggestions that Avengers vs. X-Men is a response to DC’s New 52

Like Ryan Higgins I call bullshit. Joe what you said here is a load of shit, and you must love the taste toe jam if you truly believe this garbage.
I have one question though: What the fuck has Marvel been doing Joe? I can't remember when Marvel did something that made me think that DC needed to step up their game. The "New Rejiggered 52" from DC was not in response to what Marvel was doing. DC set fire to their house to try and revitalize DC and the comic book industry in general. In some ways it worked,in others it didn't, but at least they were doing something that was worth my money.

Avengers Vs. X-Men may have been on your docket to publishing for several years, but I'm not looking forward to it, because it sounds like the plot for another fighting game from Capcom staring Marvel characters.

If you do find Marvel comics from the universe where "DC rejiggered because of what Marvel was doing," please send them to me; I'd like to read comic books from that universe.

I got the quote from Comic Book Resources.

Conspirator Brock's Pull List for 3/7/12

For all of the curious people out there wondering what I like to read week to week here is a list of the titles I am going to be picking up for the week of 3/7/12:

(Note: I have included deep links for some titles if you wish to support Comics Conspiracy when you buy digital comics. I have not included links to Marvel or Dark Horse books because you cannot buy them through our site.)

01. Action Comics #7 DC
02. Amazing Spider-Man #681 Marvel
03. Animal Man #7 DC
04. Batwing #7 DC
05. DC Universe Online: Legends #25 DC
06. Detective Comics #7 DC
07. Fairest #1 Vertigo
08. Huntress #6 of 6 DC
09. Justice League International #7 DC
10. Red Lanterns #7 DC
11. Star Wars - Dawn of the Jedi: Force Storm #1 Dark Horse*
12. Swamp Thing #7 DC
13. Winter Soldier #3 Marvel

*Most stores under ordered this title and I was amazed we had one back on the shelf.
I snatched it up and can't wait to dive in.

Graphic Novel
Star Wars Legacy (Vol. 09) - Monster Dark Horse
Star Wars Legacy (Vol. 10) - Extremes Dark Horse
Star Wars Legacy (Vol. 11) - War Dark Horse

Okay it is time to get back to a normal reading schedule. Month seven of the "New Rejiggered 52" is under way and I can't wait to read Animal Man and Swamp Thing because these titles have been amazing and beautiful comics to experience. I'm actually going to read Swamp Thing #7 while listening to the song Yanick Paquette created while drawing Swamp Thing. Maybe it will work for Animal Man too. I'll let you know.
Action Comics, Detective Comics, Winter Soldier, and Fairest #1 are also out this week and I am looking forward to these books too.
I dropped Green Arrow, because the first story arch didn't grab my attention enough to keep going with this series and I am not a real fan of Harvey Tolibao's art. It works for some titles, but for me it doesn't work for Green Arrow.
tI will be checking out The new Image Comics book The Manhattan Projects #1 by Jonathan Hickman with art from Nick Pitarra & Cris Peter. Image has had a few good titles pop up lately and since my Marvel titles have fallen off I find myself trying to fill some of those gaps with new and interesting books. I'll let you know what I think.
I will also be reading Wolverine and the X-Men: Alpha and Omega #3 of 5 this week, but I'm not buying it.
And I finally get to check out that new Star Wars series Dawn of the Jedi: Force Storm, and I hope it becomes a permanent title on my pull list.

Remember you can now find these titles and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront.
You can still order comics from us directly by visiting the shop or giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

As usual I'll be talking comics on The Comic Conspiracy, and on the Geekbox Forums. Now get out there and enjoy some good old fashioned comic book reading.

Random Comic Pick - Episode 47.5

My random comic pick on The Comic Conspiracy: Episode 47.5 is the Image title Peter Panzerfaust #1, by Kurtis J. Wiebe with art from Tyler Jenkins. I picked this up while on my comic book shop tour of San Antonio and I must say I was impressed by this comic.
Set during the early days of World War II the first issue puts you in the French city of Calais, which was the first to fall to the Germans in the spring of 1940. A mysterious American boy named Peter helps a group of orphans survive and you hope they do.
The issue ended abruptly in the middle of action so I hope the next issue keeps up my interest, but I think that it will. So, get out there and try Peter Panzerfaust #1 for yourself.

Remember you can now find this title and more in digital format at our Comics Conspiracy - Comixology Storefront or you can order comics from us directly by visiting the shop, giving us a call (408) 245-6275, or dropping Ryan an email at ryan@comicsconspiracy.biz.

The New Rejiggered 52 is Pandora's Doing

If you haven't read Justice League #6 then stop reading this. Hey I'm not going to be the one that spoils it for you.

There was a back-up story at the end of Justice League #6 by Geoff Johns with art by Carlos D'Anda featuring Pandora and the Phantom Stranger. It seems little Pandora not only opened a box long ago, but recently realigned/strengthened the DC Universe. She is doing all this to have her curse lifted. The Phantom Stranger was sent by the Circle of Eternity to warn her that she must not involve herself only observe, and to take the box from her. Pandora doesn't take this very well and puts a mystical bullet in The Phantom Strangers head. This of course doesn't kill him and she tells him to stay away or she will tell everyone who he really is and then their will be a lot of people gunning for him. Pandora needs to find The Strange and she is going to have the Justice League help her do that, even if they don't want to.

This little back-up makes you want to read even more, go back and check out what you have read, and wonder what is in store for the "New Rejiggered 52" from this point forward. From what I have heard and read you will have to check out DC's Free Comic Book Day issue for more on Pandora and the "New Rejiggered 52", and also follow Pandora's exploits in the Justice League. If you are like me you can't wait.

Oh and who is the third sinner that The Phantom Stranger mentions? Cain? That would be my guess, but with most of the what has been happening in the DC Universe we will just have to wait and see. I'm okay with that.

I'm Speechless and Grateful...

We live in a very cruel world, but we also live in a world that can be extremely kind. I want to look at that kind world for a moment, and say thank you to two listeners who, because of their giving natures, allowed me to get a new laptop.
These two listeners are heroes in my eye,s and how do you thank a hero? I wish I knew, because I am just so humbled by their acts of kindness. Thank you both for what you have given me, and I wish one day that I can "pay it forward" and be a hero just like you.
